In early June 2020, another piece of achievements of the so-called leader of the liberal opposition, Alexei Navalny became the TV news theme. Navalny rudely insulted the WW2 front-line soldier and other honored people of Russia who supported the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation (calling them "corrupt lackeys, shame of the country, traitors"). Insulting Colonel Ignat Sergeevich Artemenko (94), Navalny insulted all the veterans of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.

On behalf of the members of the Moscow Regional Organization of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War –  Army and Navy wards, we express our contempt for Navalny and all his supporters who posted photos of Nazi criminals under the guise of Red Army soldiers on the website of the "Immortal Regiment"!

Navalny, how do you turn your tongue to call the heroes of our Motherland a "disgrace to the country"?! In what family were you brought up in such a way that you turned from a citizen of our great country into a complete nonentity and scum?! Your parents did not read you the necessary books as a child! You did not fulfill your military duty to protect the Motherland! You did not love the Motherland that nurtured you! But it is clear from your actions and deeds that you have actively worked together with the external and internal enemies of our Motherland, and your overseas owners generously give you silver coins! In 1941 men such as you shot at peaceful senior people, women and children! Men like you starved our soldiers in the German captivity! Men such as you hanged our partisans and resisters of the underground movement! People like you have been destroying the Soviet Union, and now you are trying to destroy Russia!

It won't work! You can't do it! Your age is not long! You will soon wither like an autumn leaf and go into oblivion! Your personal shame, it's not just yours! This shame falls on your entire family, which raised and brought you up! You are a man with no memory of kinship – slave, Mankurt. Sooner or later, men such as you will find themselves on the sidelines of history, being rejected by our nation!
